Teaching
All my teaching is now over and that's a pity I haven't thought of creating a specific page earlier.
I'm running out of time for the time being, but I'll post
my personal newbie advices and stuff I made someday.
1. Physics labs for high school teacher national competition (CAPES)
Here should come the labs I drew up
- amplitude (de)modulation & spectral analysis
- single-phase transformer
- microscope
plus
- a list of good books, e.g.
- Les dictionnaires de physique expérimentale de Lucien Quaranta & co.
- Le Sextant
- ...
- Feel free to add more!
- useful links, e.g.
- Bulletin d'Union des Physiciens
- The Physics teacher
- ...
- Pierron, Jeulin, ... (providers)
- some general advices...
2. Electromagnetism class (TD L2)
Here should come my notes and some advices...
3. M2 physics computing project (TIPP)
- All I've done + students' account, presentation and codes are here. Just click the "TIPP" entry.
- Nice subjects can also be found here. Check the links in section 2.
4. Assessment form
Here's a teaching assessment form I made (in French).
It is inspired from what's practised in this master 2 in Strasbourg and from personal advices I've been given.
I used it at the end of my "TD d'Electromagnétisme" class but I should have given it once along the way to get an early feedback.
This would have allowed me to realize I was not as good as I thought at explaining subtle notions... :-(
... and thus spend time thinking of other approaches.
More advanced assessment approaches can be found here (MIT) and here (EPFL).
